MAC Lipstick | Frost "O"

Yesterday I found myself unexpectedly on a trip to the Netherlands. Granted this was not an awfully exciting trip, I only really saw the insides of train stations and airports. It's so ironic considering Holland is one of those places where I have been desperate to explore more.

Anyhoo, in honour of my tiring and sweltering day (it was 30 degrees in Amsterdam and I was wearing jeans!!!) I decided to treat myself to a new lipstick at the MAC counter whilst waiting in Birmingham for my flight home. Thank you duty free!

I also re-purchased the Matt Mehr shade as my darling sister has taken it upon herself to "borrow" my original purchase. I also took advantage of the cheaper prices to buy a couple of their foundation pumps. My sister and I have been using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and I had heard this pump was the perfect fit for the bottles. No more wastage for us!

The great thing about MAC counters in airports is that, 1 it's significantly cheaper and 2 there is hardly anyone crowding around the lipstick display. That's one thing I hate about going into their own stores, having to battle with the loads of girls struggling to see the different shades. Not the most relaxing and fun experience.
I was able to browse to my hearts content, and came across a metallicy-broze colour that immediately grabbed my attention.
I expect you've seen the snapchat filters that makes your make-up look flawless, well whilst perusing one day I tried on the filter that included a browny shade of lipstick and thought - hey....that quite suits me.

So after spotting the Frost lipstick in the shade "O" I knew I wanted to try it out and see if it would be a suitable choice for me.
The lovely MAC assistant had explained that it hadn't been selling well but in the last couple of weeks it's popularity has grown. I can imagine this is due to the metallic lipstick trend.

I recently purchased the Canon EOS 750D so I'm still trying to get used to it. That's why i'm unable to capture the metallicy sheen that is so beautiful in this shade. Practice makes perfect as they say.

Have you tried any of the Frost range? I am interested to see what people make of them! Cannot wait to wear this out today.
